My name is Steven S. Winn.

At four years old, instead of backing the family’s red Toyota station wagon named Betsy out of the garage, I accelerated into the garage refrigerator. I was in big trouble, but I was hooked on driving.

In my teens and twenties, depression overwhelmed me and I found myself just surviving. I would lie on my bed in the middle of the day with no energy, wanting to sleep as much as possible--merely existing instead of living. When God began showing me a clearer picture of who he is and the transforming power of connecting, he led me slowly but surely out of the darkness of depression and onto the road of hope.

Today, my passion is to walk with you on your road from depression to joy, so you too can leave “just surviving” in the dust and connect to hope.
